In the morning of 10 September, Quznahou Puxi Wanda Plaza held a large-scale foundation laying ceremony with the theme “Prosperous Wanda, Light in Quanzhou” at the site of the project as scheduled.

Vice Chairman of Dalian Wanda, Mr. Sun Jiquan, gave a speech at the ceremony. He said that however strong the wind and the rain, the people of Wanda’s vigor was greater. The foundation laying ceremony today bode well for the smooth construction of Wanda Plaza in Quanzhou. The whole ceremony demonstrated the quality of Wanda - fearlessness in face of difficulties, calm in all situations, bravery in stepping forward, and unwavering persistence, as well as showcased their usual efficiency and speed. The ceremony was marked by celebratory music and warm enthusiasm. The company’s management, the staff of the Quanzhou Project Company, and the colleagues of China Construction Second Engineering Bureau cheered for the foundation laying ceremony of Quanzhou Puxi Wanda Plaza.

Quanzhou Puxi Wanda Plaza is one of the most important of Dalian Wanda’s 50 odd national projects. It is also the largest in scale and size, and the highest in the degree of integration and standard of the Wanda Plazas in Fujian. The launch of Quanzhou Puxi Wanda Plaza will make this place the busiest commercial center in Quanzhou and establish it as Quanzhou’s new commercial representative and city landmark.

Quanzhou Puxi Wanda Plaza is Dalian Wanda’s new masterpiece in its positioning in Haixi following Fuzhou Finance Street Wanda Plaza, Xiamen Huli Wanda Plaza, and Fuzhou Cangshan Wanda Plaza. It is also Dalian Wanda’s largest project in Fujian in terms of development size. 

Quanzhou Puxi Wanda Plaza is situated at the junction of Baozhou Road and Citong Road in Fengze District, Quanzhou. The project area stretches from Baozhou Road in the north to Jiangbin Road to the south, from Citong Road in the east to Guihua Daolu in the west. The total investment in the project is about RMB9 billion. The whole project consists of high-end offices, an up-market hotel, a business hotel, a shopping center, an outdoor commercial walkway, restaurants, and luxury homes, and is Wanda’s urban integrated complex with the latest and most comprehensive supporting functions integrating shopping, catering, culture, entertainment, commerce, and leisure. After completion, Quanzhou Puxi Wanda Plaza will become Quanzhou’s new city center, and will create a better living environment for the people of Quanzhou.
